The United States goes by a set of rules in which they have to follow these safeguards are here to protect us from bad people that do not follow the rules. Juvenile and adults court will never be the same and they have many different things that they do . When dealing with the amendments they are here to also protect us and serve us the right way and give the citizens' a fair trial. There will always be someone around to break a crime and the courts will be here to prosecute them and give them the rights that they have when in jail. Well this story will talk about the adult and juvenile courts and what they have to do with the amendments.
The fourth amendment deals with juvenile proceedings and adult proceedings this works for both because it gives them the right from security search and seizures. When the states arrest you they have up to five days from the time you was arrested to find probably cause, so this gives them the right to gather the information they need to charge you the right way, which the law supports this , and also give them the proper privacy they need . "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated; an no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized." (Internet Reference, 2012)
The Fifth Amendment protects both adults and juveniles from incriminating their self, they have the right to not testify againist them self. Therefore, if they feel that they are being incriminated for something they have the right to plead the fifth and not say a word. Although they can still go to jail or be found guilty this just helps them protect them self from talking about anything the lawyers throw at them. This amendment gives them the right to a jury trial, this means that the city has to give them a fair trial and that they cannot hold them hostage, they cannot be charged with the same crime twice.
The sixth amendment gives both adults and juveniles the opportunity and the right to cross-examine any witness that has been obtained against them in court. This is when they give them the right to a speedy trial; this will be held in the jurisdiction this will also give them a fair trial as well, this is also open to the public. These three amendments are safeguards to help protect the citizens of the United States. This protects everyone even the working people that are on trial and they have to fight the injustice that may happen in the courts and even in law enforcement period. In which the Miranda rights was created so the people that are being arrested know that they have rights and that they cannot be overlooked. So if an officer does not read a person that is being arrested their rights they can throw the case away because everyone needs to know their rights.
