- Beginning critical thinker
-Thinkers at this stage know that they have basic difficulties in their thinking and make initial efforts to better understand how they can take charge of and correct it. Based on this understanding, beginning thinkers begin to change some of their thinking, but have restricted insight into deeper levels of the trouble in their thinking. Most importantly, they require a well-organized plan for correcting their thinking, therefore, their efforts are hit and miss.

- Average critical thinker
-Thinkers at this stage have a sense of the ways they need to grow to take charge of their thinking. They not only understand that problems exist in their thinking, but they also understand the need to tackle these problems globally and regularly. Based on their sight of the need to practice constantly, they are actively examining their thinking in a number of areas. Furthermore, since average thinkers are only beginning to corner the growth of their thinking in a well-organized way, they still have restricted insight into deeper levels of thinking, and therefore into deeper levels of the obstacles rooted in thinking.

-Advanced critical thinker
-Thinkers at this stage have now built good habits of thought which are paying off. Based on these customs, advanced thinkers not only actively examine their thinking in all the vital areas of their lives but also have important insight into problems at broader levels of thought. While advanced thinkers are capable of thinking well beyond the important dimensions of their lives, they are not yet equipped to think at a consistent high level across all of these dimensions. They constantly strive to be fair-minded. Of course, they sometimes lapse and reason in a one-sided way.

I believe I am a Advanced thinker. The reason I believe that is because I have good habits of thought and because I actively examine my thinking in all the vital areas of my life. Also because I have good insight into problems and have solutions to them. I may not be able to think at a consistent high level at times though.
