Marijuana is a plant that grows wild in many countries of the world. Marijuana is identified scientifically as Cannabis Sativa and Cannabis Indica, and goes by the street names and nicknames of; weed, pot, green, grass, reefer, chronic, bud, ganja, Mary Jane etc.

Stops seizures
Stimulates appetite for HIV/Cancer patients
Relieves pain
Delays Alzheimer\'s

Economic Pros
The government would save about 14 billion dollars on prohibition enforcement costs and tax revenue by legalizing pot
Legalization could drastically reduce the price of marijuana, freeing up more money to spend on other things
Reduce prison costs by over a billion dollars annually due to marijuana-related charges
Reduces tens of billions in tax revenue due to prohibition
Cash crop worth a fortune in U.S.
Illegally it is a about a 40 billion dollar per year industry
Legalization would mean more jobs
Help decrease defecates through taxation

Withdrawal from alcohol can cause people to feel depression, insomnia, anxiety, headaches, fever, nausea and seizures
Although there is not much research, alcohol would have to pose the same threat


according to the DEA, marijuana is a schedule 1 substance which is in the same category as heroin, LSD and ecstasy

Smoking pot is often linked to kids do not do so well in school.
