Six Dimensions of Health Worksheet

Part 1

For each of the following six dimensions of health, list at least one characteristic, activity, belief, or attitude that reflects that dimension in your life. Provide a brief explanation with each example. Refer to Ch. 1 in the text for explanations of these dimensions.

Physical health: Physical Health has to do with performing normal activities in your daily life. Swimming is an activity that reflects physical health, It is also promotes weight loss that can maintain an overall healthy life.

Social health: Social health reflects on how you interact with people around. Being a social person to people around can reflect you into living a happier live instead or not being a social person that can cause you to be depressed.

Intellectual health: For intellectual health an activity will be thinking before making and action. Before you are jumping of the bridge you thought about and came to your sense that you can hurt yourself. Making you more responsible into making decisions in your life.

Environmental health: Environmental health has to do on how you threat the environment around. Recycling is a way of caring about the environment to keep it more reusable and stop causing burning of trash and polluting the air.

Emotional health: Emotional health activity can be how you express your feelings. If you can express your feelings to others you can live a better life and have people understand you better. To not express your feeling and have you feeling inside you can blast out on people anytime.

Spiritual health: Spiritual health has to do with your beliefs in anything I am a church person. Depending on maybe religion or basic belief you may have everyone has their own that can reflect in emotional health and physical health and the ways you think of things.

In approximately 125 to 200 words, describe health and wellness in your own words using the ideas and concepts for each of the six dimensions of health.

Everyone?s lifestyle is different depending on your understanding and actions on health and wellness. To have a balance and healthy lifestyle to prevent illness and promoted a better and longer life. Everything falls into the six dimensions of health which included social, physical intellectual, environmnetal, emotional, and spiritual health. With that being said understating and knowing the actions to take to either improve and fixed your lifestyle for a better life. Social health creates and maintains relationships while with anyone with interact with. Physical health has to do activities to make strong bodies. It helps us with nutrition choices we make and exercises us practice to how we sleep and control sour stress. Physical health can cause to improve and more physical health life and prevent future sickness. Intellectual health has to do with making the right decisions thinking clearly on things to make a better outcome for a good life. Environmental health is more like your care for the environment action you make to either protect or make aware of the environment to improve it and preserve. Emotional health makes life with more understandfull of your emotions how you control them and deal with them. The approach you make towards anyone about how you are feeling are you a person who can express your emotions or a person who keeps them bottle in. Keeping emotions bottle in can cause depression and promote you to not having a health life. Spiritual health has to do with the way you think and belief in things. Religion has an impact in spiritual health and can cause you to make action depending on your belief in life.
